Trauma-informed mindfulness practices (also referred to as Trauma-sensitive mindfulness - TSM) give children power and choice.

 

Our mission is to make mindfulness inclusive for all nervous system states present. â€‹â€‹

Given that safety is multi-dimensional, ranging from physical to emotional to social safety, at Kommodum Kids, our trauma-informed approaches prioritise respect for individual boundaries.

 

Trauma-informed mindfulness hinges more on the "how" it is implemented rather than the "what" it entails.

This is achieved through four primary components of "trauma-informed" teaching, with a particular

focus on consistently nurturing self-compassion as an integral resource:
